To the right of the one who descends from Praça da República to Misericórdia street, all painted in white, the date can be read on the door of 1758. The raised gable, coined by coarse pilasters - Portaintelada and cornijada on the 1st floor and large framed window on the second floor. Chapel of a single nave, rectangular plan, vaulted crib with lateral penetrations, marble pulpit and a small door leading to the Misericordia Church.
The chancel, with a perfect triumphal arch. Dome out to the ship. The altar has glazed niche and perfect back arch with framed pilasters. Paintings allusive to the Passion. There are seven double canvases, all painted the same size.
Located Rua da Misericórdia, in Vila Alva.
There are 4 more oil paintings with scenes of the Passion and that serve for the Procession of the Steps. In the middle of the nave is the image of Senhor dos Passos - eighteenth century.
In the middle of the nave we find the andor and the image of the Dead Lord, seventeenth century who once occupied the prominent place in the niche of the altar. Both churches are worth a visit.
