Haus am See features direct access to the shores of Lake Weißensee, at 950 metres the highest swimming lake of the Alps. It offers modern accommodations with satellite TV. A sauna, a steam bath and a gym are available on site.
All rooms provide a comfortable seating area and are mainly wooden furnished. The family rooms also have a balcony.
Guests of the Haus am See can relax on the large terrace or the sunbathing lawn, offering wonderful views of the lake. A separate dog bathing area is nearby.
Half-board at the Haus am See comprises a rich breakfast buffet with an ample choice of organic and regional products. In the afternoon, home-made cakes are served for tea. A 4-course menu is served for dinner, a fine mixture out of Carinthian specialities and international cuisine.
Lake Weißensee features first-class water quality. Diving and windsurfing lessons can be booked nearby. Sun umbrellas and boats rental are available on site. Hiking, Nordic Walking and mountain biking along the shores are very popular activities in the region.
50 km of cross-country skiing tracks in the sunny Weissensee Valley as well as the nearby ski slopes can be easily reached from Haus am See.
