Set in an idyllic mountain chalet 1,773 metres above sea level, Berggasthaus Pirigen offers panoramic views over the Schanfigg Valley and Weisshorn Mountain. Free WiFi is available in all areas and parking is possible free of charge during summer.
The guest house was built in 1865. The electricity for lights and phone charging is provided by solar power, while the water and the rooms are heated with wood fires in the traditional tiled stove.
Buffet breakfast and dinner are included in the rates at Pirigen Berggasthaus. The restaurant offers traditional menus and daily specials also throughout the day. Freshly-made bread, cakes and muffins can also be enjoyed.
The rooms are functionally furnished and offer mountain views. Bathrooms are shared, and separate toilets are provided for male and female guests.
In winter, sledges and snow shoes can be rented. Traditional cheese fondue, fondue chinoise and table grills are also offered as menu specials in winter (advance booking required).
Pirigen is set in green fields during the summer months, and is isolated by snow in the winter months. Parking is available on site in summer, but not in winter, when the road to Pirigen is closed.
Langwies with the closest shop and train station is 5 km from the property, and Arosa is 14 km away.
