Reservation fee (per reservation, per person)
Individual (up to 10 persons) = € 1.50
Groups (over 10 persons) = € 7.50
Cancelations without any penalties are possible if made 5 days prior to check in date, after this period 1 night's accomodation will be charged on client's credit card.
All reservations are subject to the reservation fee according to valid rates.
Movijovem will not be held responsible for the cancelations of reservations due to weather conditions, strikes, delays or other situations.
Services and schedules mentioned in our brochure can be changed without previous information.

The Pousada will charge the equivalent to 1 night's stay.

Obligatory supplements
- ALL CLIENTS WILL HAVE TO INFORM UPON THE REQUEST OF RESERVATION NUMBER OF FEMALE AND/ OR MALES AS WE OUR POLICY IS TO SELL OUR ESTABLISHMENTS BY BEDS AND WILL DIVIDED OUR GUESTS BY GENDERS.
- The presentation of the youth membership card is mandatory for all clients as from the age of 12 in any of the Youth hostels of RNTJ and in the international youth hotels.
The youth membership card is valid for 1 year (12 months) as from the day of issue either for individual or groups.
Movijovem reserves the right to keep the membership card should any misbehaviour of its users be detected.
In Portugal (continental), the cost of the membership card is of 26 Euros and give you the access to all youths hostels in Portugal.
The acquisition of service of bedding is entitled to the person who will benefit a bed in a room that can be shared with other hostel members (multiple room) and can belong or not to the same group. The distribution of beds is made by the youth hostels of Portugal «Pousada da Juventude».
Towels are only provided in double rooms , family rooms and apartments.
During the cleaning period (12h00-18h00) the access to multiple rooms is limited .
The changing of bed linen and towels is assured, each 3 days by the cleaning services of Pousada da Juventude.
All hostels have in general restaurante service, get information when making your reservation.
- In some Youth hostels the use of kitchen and laundry rooms is available to make light meals and to wash clothes.
All the facilities information will be handed to guests at reception.
- Smoking, drinking and eating is strictly forbidden to do in the rooms. Silence also must be respected as from midnight (00h00).
- All guests are individually responsible for any damage done as well as its penalties.
Should there be any disrespect to the rules, the suspension of the membership card will be immediate not allowing the member to issue a new one.
- Movijovem is not responsible for any damages done to client's personal belongings.
- All personal assets left in the youth hostels will be placed in our warehouse and can be collected within 48 hours, but the bearer must present proof and will have to pay a fee.
- Pets or any kind of animal is strictly forbidden in any of the youth hotels of Portugal except for guide dogs accompanying guests who are unable to see (blindness)
ALL BOOKINGS ARE SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY AND CONFIRMATION OF THE YOUTH HOSTEL.
